Some drivers might think of speed limits as more like friendly suggestions rather than strict rules, similar to adjusting a recipe to taste. This mindset often results in drivers exceeding speed limits by significant margins.The reality is that speed limits are laws, not suggestions, and failing to follow them can have devastating consequences. The City of Peck has received complaints about vehicles exceeding speed limits, particularly on Big Canyon Road and near the school where children play outside and cross Main St to visit the library during school hours. We've received concerns from residents in residential areas, and we urge all community members to exercise utmost caution. It is imperative that everyone adheres to our speed limits and shows consideration for fellow citizens. Your cooperation is vital in maintaining a safe environment for all.
