Fire Department

Big Canyon Fire District provides service to the Peck area and the Highway 12 corridor up to the Lenore Post Office, where Station 2 is situated, and serves a small number of homes in the vicinity. The Big Canyon Fire Station, with 9600 square feet, is the largest volunteer fire station in the area.
